PUBLIC NOTICE
CITY OF WALNUT SPRINGS

Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that a Public
Hearing will be conducted by the City of Walnut Springs, Texas,
at the City Hall, 4126 3rd Street, September 10, 2025 at 6:00 pm for
discussing the proposed budget for all funds for fiscal year 2025-2026.
A copy of the proposed budget will be available for review during
regular business hours in the City Office.

SMALL TAXING UNIT NOTICE

The City of Walnut Springs will hold a meeting on September 10, 2025 at 6:15 pm at 4126 3rd Street, Walnut Springs, Texas to consider adopting a proposed tax rate for tax year 2025. The proposed tax rate is 0.3036 per $100.00 of value.
The no-new-revenue tax rate is the tax rate for the 2025 tax year that will raise the same amount of property tax revenue for the City of Walnut Springs as the 2024 tax year.

Waste Connections Trash Service Increase

Waste Connections increased our trash service rates. These increases will be on the next billing statement. The new rates went into effect July 1, but our billing cycle is not in sync with first of month to last of month. The new rates increase amounts will not be due until the September 10th due date bills. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact City Hall 254-797-3721.

Residential cart: $25.70 plus tax

Additional cart(s): $9.12 each plus tax.
